Peace Is a Process

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

There is a process of peace underway. Throughout the world nations are clamoring for peace. Throughout the world nations are clamoring for peace. From Afghanistan to Iraq, Gaza and Lebanon we see destruction, violence and utter desolation. Israel is at the very heart of this process. Whether we understand it or not, the whole earth is embroiled in a spiritual battle. Although it seems like a number of unrelated wars between nations, nationalities, or religions, ultimately they are striving either for or against God’s Kingdom to be established.

There soon will be a false “peace.” It will not last, and many shall be deceived. Be, therefore, watchful and wise. All the prophecies about the “end times” are unfolding before your very eyes! The time of the great tribulation (Mat. 24:21) is close at hand. For the first time in global history, all nations of the earth are faced to make a choice. “Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people. Let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.” (Isa. 34:1)

True Peace shall be established when the Lord returns and sets up His Kingdom in Israel. “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone; a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation.” (Isa. 28:16) Just as the Ark of the Covenant was built in the wilderness exactly to God’s specifications, so Jerusalem is the pattern of the heavenly City of God which will be established in the earth. His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Luke 11:2) For every physical element on the earth there is a spiritual counterpart.

“I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David, my servant, thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once I have sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David, his seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.” (Ps. 89: 3,4,34-36) Jesus is that seed, (Luke 3: 23-38) By His sacrifice on the cross, all nations can become grafted in and become the spiritual Israel.

“The desert shall rejoice, and blossom like the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing. Strengthen the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart. Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, he will come and save you. The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called: The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” (Isa. 35: 1-10)

Are you grafted into the spiritual Israel; the chosen of the Lord? Just as Israel right now is fighting its enemies round about and taming the desert places, are you experiencing draught and distress? Satan knows his time is very short and he is out to devour whom he can. But God will restore what the devourer has taken from you. (Joel 2:25) Expect it and walk in victory!

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall arise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. ” (Isa. 54:17) The day of the Lord is at hand (Zeph. 1:7) “Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Ph. 2:11)

Buy a Car Seat Cover For Your Child

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

If you are looking to buy a car seat cover, you may want to look in stores where the car seats are sold. Many stores that carry car seats for kids, also carry car seat covers as well. Car seat covers are practical as well as nice to look at. Many kid’s car seats just have the hard plastic lining inside, and the car seat cover will give the baby some cushioning, instead of lying on the hard plastic.

When you are looking to buy a car seat cover for your child’s car seat, be sure that the car seat cover can be washed. Being able to wash the car seat cover will help keep the germs down in your child’s car seat. You never know when a diaper may spring a leak, or the top pop off of a sippy cup while your child is riding in the car seat. The car seat cover will help protect the car seat, as well as give the child more padding to sit on.

If you are going to a baby shower, you may want to buy a car seat cover for the new mom. Car seat covers make great baby gifts that you just can’t go wrong with. Everyone with a child needs a car seat, so therefore, they also need a car seat cover. When you buy a car seat cover as a baby shower gift, you can choose colors that will match the baby’s nursery, or the theme of the baby shower. For instance, if the mother is having a baby boy, you could get a blue car seat cover as your shower gift, and pink for a baby girl. However, not all new mom’s know what they are having ahead of time. If this is the case, you can purchase a neutral colored car seat cover to give as your baby shower gift. Usually yellow, and green are thought of as neutral colors that can be used for a boy or a girl.

When you buy a car seat cover for your child’s car seat, you are protecting it, as well as cushioning the baby. However, when you protect the car seat, you will be able to make it last from one baby to another, without having to go out and buy a new car seat for your next baby. Remember to look for one that can be washed, and don’t worry about the car seat cover not being the right size, most of the car seats are all one standard size, so they should be a one size fits all.

Venus Eclipses Mars

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Women are public faces for corporation to individual. They work as a bridge between world outside and organization they work for.

Small business to large corporate hour’s, Government department to NGO, nobody can ignore the role of “personal Relationship (PR)” in developing a good image among its constituency. PR makes them look good. It presents their best part of profile. So times, they do damage control. They keep the memory of organization press in public mind.

Crux of the story is PR is an integral part of a business. But do you know majority of PR executives are women. Ever wondered why?

Men may be more logical and sensible, but women are good at persuasion. Get the below facts.

1.Women are instinctively homemakers, handling the travails of life and living. They are more emotional, which play a big part in persuasion.

2.They are great at using better words to express themselves. Here they win hands down. Any part of life is governed by proper selection of effective language and words. Women quite easily win over men in this part of life.

3.The ability to communicate effectively with clients, perceive their requirement and limitations, are aspects on which women excels.

4.Women presence instill trust and sincerity among the clients and people interacting. Which encourages confidence building, sharing information openly?

5.Women are more open to any idea than men. They keep their mind open for any challenging idea or adverse attributes. They are more flexible in accommodating the new ideas.

6.Men are usually goal-centric. They are after a agenda more or less. In this process they may tend to become more and more hard taskmaster which is essentially no-no in PR profession of soft skills and accommodating attitude.

Women out do men in almost any kind of human interaction. People may say that their feminity play a major role over that. But let those people keep complaining. Venus has eclipsed Mars already.

But, Butter is More Natural…!

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Another short chapter in the butter versus margarine debate.

Yes, I’ll have more to say about what I consider the pros and cons of butter and margarine are at a later date! But, for the time being I would like to comment on the title above. I heard this comment from someone extolling the virtues of butter in relation to margarine.

I am afraid that I fail to understand the claim or belief that butter is natural! Sorry, I mean more natural than margarine! Let’s take a quick look at how butter is manufactured.

Firstly, a paddock with grass growing and supplies of water is generally required.

Secondly, grazing in the paddock, we generally require one or more bovine animals of the female gender, commonly called cows.

Now immediately, this term “cows” or “cow” should give us a few clues. Isn’t the term “cow” used colloquially to refer to an ugly or bad tempered woman? Or it can also mean something unpleasant or disagreeable…, “I have had a cow of a day..”. Or, “a fair cow…”. The term is also used expressing sympathy on occasions…, “the poor cow”, an unfortunate person! And finally, for something that seemingly takes forever, we may say, “till the cows come home”.

But no, I am not going to use colloquialisms as a part of my argument.

Let’s just look at the facts. Let’s look at the part these female bovines play in the butter manufacturing process. The farmer has the cow or cows fenced in a paddock, breathing fresh natural air, eating green natural grass and drinking fresh natural water from the natural stream.

But, that is about where the “natural” bit ends! Basically the first part of the manufacture of butter necessitates a cow or cows eating copious quantities of grass, drinking heaps of water and of course constantly breathing fresh air! The grass is masticated, being mixed with cow saliva, before being swallowed and passing through the cow’s oesophagus and through the cow’s alimentary canal until it comes to the first of several sac-like enlargements called stomachs…, and yes, cows have more than one. Here the masticated grass/saliva mixture is further mixed with other juices produced by the cow and the digestion process takes place. However, the vast majority of what has gone into the first bovine orifice, the cow’s mouth, after much processing will come out of two other orifices at the opposite end of the cow, as waste product.

Talking of orifices, there are yet another five involved in the first part of the manufacture of butter!

And the poor cows are not able to do it on their own! They need the assistance of a bovine of the male gender, commonly called a bull! Yes, the farmer needs occasionally to let a bull into the paddock with the cows, for it to ‘have his way’ with them.

This part of the butter manufacturing process involves the bull placing his appendage into one of those five orifices of the cow mentioned above and pumping in some of his own special juices. The expected result of this is that the cow becomes pregnant, and eventually produces calves. Now, this is a very important part of the butter manufacturing process.

You see, cows are members of mammalia, a class of vertebrates whose young feed upon milk from their mother’s breasts. In the case of cows, this milk production is one of the by-products of the digestive process mentioned above. But the obtaining of milk from the poor cow for the process of butter manufacture is far from natural! You see, the teats on the cow, the final four cow orifices mentioned above, are squeezed by either the farmer’s hands or a milking machine. The cow’s body processes are therefore fooled into thinking that the calves need feeding, and the milk is produced!

But, where does the butter come from? Well, the milk is stored in vats and left to stand. The nutrient rich stuff is heavier and goes to the bottom, and the lighter saturated fatty gunk known as cream floats to the top. Machines are then used to beat the hell out or this fat. Two end products are produced. One is a watery translucent liquid, which is poured off and used for other purposes. The other end product is a pale yellow semi-solid stuff that is then generally processed further by adding things such as salt and colouring and packaged into containers.

It is then sold as butter!

“A natural product…..!!!” But, butter is more natural…………..!

Why is Wicca Witchcraft So Popular?

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Wicca witchcraft is said to be the fastest growing religion amongst high school and college students in America. It is also now practiced by people in many different walks of life, including professionals like lawyers and teachers.

Wiccans practice what they call White magic, which they believe is ‘good’ and differs from the ‘bad’ black magic.

The motivation behind getting involved in wicca is not sinister in any way. The people involved are wanting to tap into the good “forces” in nature, and direct them in a positive manner. They are seeking the ‘power’ to be able to perform good magic, and often times to also find a popular group to belong to. The number of witches covens is increasing daily. Wiccans promote good moral values like honesty.

Books like the Harry Potter series, and TV shows life “Buffy”, “Sabrina the teenage Witch”, “Charmed” and other similar shows have skyrocketed the popularity of wicca witchcraft, in a way that is unprecedented.

The term witch, no longer seems to be associated with an ugly old woman wearing black and riding on a broomstick, it has taken on the guise of sexy young females, or young teenage boys.

Wiccans are not evil people seeking to destroy the world, but unfortunately they are oblivious to the true nature of the powers they are tapping into.

Wiccans don’t believe in the devil, or demons and this is the greatest tragedy. They don’t realise that the source of the magic they are delving into is not from “nature” but from the sinister master of the evil invisible world. Deceiving spirits of demons are hard at work, luring the unknowing into a destructive cycle that can devastate their lives. It is not until people are heavily involved in wicca that they find they start to encounter “bad spirits”, “psychic attacks”, “bad energies” and “harmful voices” in their heads among other things. At this stage they need to start practicing what they call “protection magic”.

There really are supernatural forces of good and evil at play behind the scenes in this world and the Bible reveals to us what these forces are. The Bible foretells that in the end times there will be many occult manifestations and that deceiving spirits will be rife and will seek to deceive even the elect.

We need to be really careful not to open up the wrong spiritual gateways. We need to seek the truth. Wiccans believe in reincarnation, but the Bible says, Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Wiccans don’t believe in the devil, and yet the Bible clearly shows that he exists. Probably the most tragic thing though is that wiccans don’t think they need to have a saviour, but the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ gave His life so that all could be forgiven, if they accept Him as Lord of their lives. 1 Timothy 4:10 “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”

The devil is alive and well in this world and out to harm as many of God’s blessed creations as he can. If you are involved in wicca, or know someone who is, you would be well advised to have a look at both sides of the equation, and at least consider what the Bible reveals about occult practices and the source of their power.

Men’s Fashion Coordination: Color Matching Against Your Skin Complexion

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

One of the biggest fashion questions for men is usually the lack of understanding on how to color coordinate and look sharp and smart. In order to stay safe, we always see men wearing clothes with colors maintained within navy, blue tones, black and white, or khakis. While I strongly believe that men can definitely move out of these colors as men’s fashion has evolved tremendously.

We are experiencing men’s clothing which are colored more vibrantly and playing with more patterns at the same time. So what colors should we settle for? We should always wear colors that either warms up our face or bring focus toward it. The most common mistake is men thinks that wearing white is the best of choice since it is considered a universal color. Unfortunately, it is not the case because pale skinned men with light colored hair looks very much paler with white shirts.

It would be better to actually wear earthy colored shirts or medium blue colored shirts. These two tones of colors help to warm up their faces and create more attention toward the face rather the clothing. What about men with highly differentiated complexion and hair colors like light-colored skin with dark hair?

This group of men actually has a lot of rooms to play around with colors. They can easily wear shirts that are light colored or dark colored and yet not shift the focal point away from the face. Men with medium differentiation, for example tanned skin with dark-colored hair, are more suitable to settle for lighter colored shirts rather than dark colored ones. The dark colored shirts against the skin and hair will create a heavily toned down look and not brighten up his face.

Prostate Cancer Health Tips

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Tip 1

If you suspect that you have prostate cancer. Go to your doctor and ask for a Prostate Specific Antigen test. This is the common test used to detect the disease.

The systems of the disese are

A general pain in the prostate area

A need to urinate frequently, especially at night time

Difficulty in urinating, both in starting or holding back

Interrupted or weak flow of urine

The presence of blood and in urine and semen

Pain or burning sensation when urinating

Erectile dysfunction (inability to have or sustain an erection)

Uncomfortable or painful ejaculation

A frequent pain or stiffness in the upper thighs, hips, or lower back.

Some of the mentioned symptoms can also be related to other reproductive diseases other than prostate cancer. Ask your doctor.

Tip 2

Use Soy based products in your diet. Soy is very rich in isoflavones: go to

: they also have some very good recipes

Tip 12

It is true to say that most cases of prostate cancer grow so slowly that action is rarely needed. Most of the time it is a case of “watchful waiting”. Which means the doctor will place you under surveillance and routine testing. If the cancer reaches a point in which it becomes a danger to the patient, other treatment methods will come into play. These methods consist of radiotherapy, hormone therapy, or surgery.

It is not yet even known precisely why some people get prostate cancer, but a high fat high carbohydrate diet, obesity, race and family history all play a part. It is now up to you to choose if you want to reduce the risk of dying from prostate cancer.

If you do have treatment for a prostate cancer, your aftercare would benefit a lot towards a speedy recovery if: you keep as mobile as possible and maintain a good level of fitness

Tip 13

If you find you need emotional support, look for local support groups. Most major cancer centres have support groups for everyone in the community. If you are fortunate enough to live near one, you should have no troubles at all finding one on hand. However, if you don’t live near a cancer centre, you may need to talk with your doctor to get an idea of where to begin. And to finish if you think you have prostate cancer: the first thing to do is to see your doctor.

Winter can be a wonderful time for a Wedding. The season will bring intimacy, style and that sense of movie magic to your day. With the right planning you can easily turn your wedding day into a winter wonderland.

There are probably lots of ideas you and your partner can come up with on your own for this day, however, I have made a brief outline of some of them to help you on your way.

WEDDING FAVOURS:

?Ice cube place card holders.
?Miniature wedding snow globes.
?Silver bells.
?White crackers with your guests names on.
?White Christmas balls with your guests names on.

?A DJ who is willing to incorporate something similar and possibly provide a snow machine (Check with your venue if this is OK first).

DECORATIONS:

?Lots of candle light.
?Glitter!
?Silver bells and white ribbon.
?Hang artificial silver snowflakes from the ceiling with transparent wire.
?Frame the doorways and bar area with white painted branches and lights, then finish off by spraying them with artificial snow and glitter.
?Decorate the tables with white poinsettias.

THE CAKE:

?A white cake with silver fabric.
?You can buy some fantastic cake toppers for the winter wedding cake if you do searching online.
?You can decorate your cake with snowmen, snowflakes and other winter favourites.

THE ARRIVAL:

?Arrive by a white horse and carriage. You could also both arrive to the reception this way-wrapped up nice and warm in a faux-fur throw.
?Arrive in a white limousine.

FLOWERS:

?White poinsettias, carnations, roses, lilies and magnolias.
?You could carry an all white bouquet or just a single white rose.
?Instead of carrying flowers, the younger bridesmaids could carry cuddly snowmen.

These are just a few of the many ways in which you can make the perfect Winter Wedding. Between the two of you, I’m sure you will find ways in which to add your own personal touches.

Cultural Differences Between Russians and Americans

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Language and culture play a tremendous part in our understanding and perceptions of the world. Here are some major cultural differences between Americans and Russians.

‘Wedded Strangers: The Challenges of Russian-American Marriages’ by Lynn Visson is a great book that explores the cultural differences between Americans and Russians.

To get a copy of Lynn’s book click here:

Lynn Visson’s “Wedded Strangers”

Lynn has a lot of personal experience in this area as she is an American of Russian decent and is married to a Russian man.

The following are some excerpts from her book:

“People who choose a spouse from a different culture often do so because they are unable to find a place in their own society, reject its values, or seek a niche elsewhere and would prefer a mate unaware of their alienation.”

Opposites Attract

“Russians and Americans are attracted to each other because they believe they are endowed with those qualities that are missing at home. As opposed to passive, boorish and intoxicated Russian men, Americans have the reputation of being clean, polite, considerate, and hard workers.”

“Russian girls offer to American men pure femininity and the willingness to play a wife’s traditional role. American men are sick of emancipated women and Russian women are sick of domestic dictators.”

“The American man is looking for a more traditional woman and the Russian woman is looking for a slightly more liberated man.”

Fundamentally, neither American men who are seeking Russian women, and Russian women who are seeking American men, have found what you are looking for at home. Both Russian women and western men think they will find in each other what is missing in their own countries.

John Kunkle has been married to a Russian women for over five years. He has travelled the path from finding her, to traveling to Russia, to bring his wife to America, and adjusting to married life. He will show you step by step how to do this yourself.

Hair Straightener - Is The High Temperature Safe For Your Hair?

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Hair straighteners are more popular than ever. I use a Sedu hair straightener, most of my friends do and if you still don’t use a hair straightener I certainly recommend using one. But does this high temperature straightening technique safe for our hair? Well, not necessarily. Actually, could be destructive and totally ruin our hair.

Read on to find the best tips for using a hair straightener and maintaining a healthy hair:

1. Check the heat distribution of the hair straightener - Some hair straighteners, mostly those with metal plates, have an uneven temperature among the surface of the plates. You hair could be severely damaged if one end of the plate will have a temperature of 180c and the other of 210c. Sedu hair straightener and other straighteners with ceramic plates usually have an even distribution of the heat.

2. Check the quality of the temperature control function - Hair straighteners with ceramic plates usually heat up and cool down quickly, what gives you a better control. You should also make sure that you can choose from a wide selection of temperatures.

3. A low temperature is not effective- A hair straightener which has a max temperature of about 150c will be less effective - Your hair style may not last through the day.

4. Do not use the hair straightener when you don’t need it - Using the hair straightener on a daily basis may harm your hair. Try giving your hair a day off at least once a week.

5. Use hair oils to protect your hair - An excessive use of the hair straightener may dry your hair out. Use oils to protect your hair.

6. Use Hair straighteners with advanced technologies such as infra red radiation and ionic technology - These technologies protect your hair and can even improve the condition of your hair. Hair straighteners like the Sedu hair straighteners which have both technologies will keep your hair in the best condition.

Hair straighteners are as safe as any other hair style treatment - Use them wisely and carefully and enjoy the feeling of a straight smooth hair.

About The Author: 911 Corp. has executed a research to find the best hair straighteners. The result and more information about hair straighteners could be found on - The Sedu hair straightener site - You must try it.
